Cooper Lomaz is looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. Whether you’re already working in recruitment or have a strong background in sales or business development, this is an opportunity to build a successful desk with the support, tools, and brand of an established regional recruitment business.

This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and delivering a high-quality recruitment service to both clients and candidates.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the full recruitment process from vacancy briefing through to offer and placement.
  • Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities across your specialist market.
  • Sourcing, interviewing, and managing candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Writing engaging job adverts and promoting opportunities across multiple channels.
  • Providing market insight, salary guidance, and recruitment advice to clients.
  • Negotiating offers and managing the recruitment process through to completion.
  • Building a pipeline of candidates and vacancies to create long-term success.
  • Working towards individual and team performance targets within a supportive environment.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous recruitment experience is preferred, although strong sales or business development experience will also be considered.
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to winning new business.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Resilient, ambitious, and motivated by achieving results.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
